Since young, I was exposed to music and sports. Through learning the piano and being involved in competitive sailing, I find myself pushing my limits to achieve my maximum potential in the things I do. Able to work both independently and in a group, I place emphasis on the importance of time and efficiency. Besides music and sports, I am intrigued by the different cultures present in the world and find passion in discovery of and exposure to them. Hoping to travel as much as I can, I yearn to learn more about the way people live and to find out what are their values in life. In return, I hope to be able to share the Singaporean’s way of life.

Dear Pei Yu,
I do agree that through sports and certain activities in life, one can push herself to her maximum limits. I am sure that you have discovered many more set of skills that are useful in your life through sports.
It is good that you are able to work independently and in a group. Being able to work independently is what I must try to learn as I tend to produce better results when I work in a group.
This is a very concise and comprehensive post about yourself. =)

Hello Peiyu,
I too agree with your sentiments that sports and music play an important role. They hone us into well rounded people and provide a healthy avenue to destress.
When working with you, I have realised that you are a very independent person, both in thought and in completing tasks. However, you are also able to work in teams and I have enjoyed the group work with you.
Your post in both modest and concise. I enjoyed the read.

Hi Pei Yu!
You had a clear and concise post that introduced yourself in just a few sentences. By being an all-rounder, indulging in both music and sports, you have brought out your strengths convincingly by showing your versatility and how you developed your potential.
I like traveling too! Through traveling, I get to meet people of different cultures, and it is really interesting to be exposed to the different ways of life. I especially like rural places where we can get to meet people who have a simpler way of life, very different from the madness in a fast-paced society like Singapore.
Hope to know you better!

Hello Jiayi,
Thanks for your comments. I agree with you that rural areas allow us to bask in the simplicity of life and teach us to be thankful for what we have in Singapore.
I experienced life in Cambodia for a month and I have learnt to be more appreciative of the simple things around me. I am grateful that I had the chance to go through that one month because it showed me how much I have taken for granted.
I wish for you to embark on never-ending adventures in future too!
Peiyu
